PAR-820 - preamplifier
PAR-820 is designed to amplify weak terrestrial TV signals received by a passive receiving antenna. The shape of the preamplifier housing allows it to be mounted anywhere on the coaxial antenna cable. This means that the preamplifier can be used in an existing antenna installation without having to dismantle the antenna. Due to the signal/noise ratio deteriorating with distance from the antenna, it is recommended to place the preamplifier itself as close to the antenna as possible.
The PAR-820 tube preamplifier is designed for indoor use. The device is powered via a coaxial cable from the output side. Due to the wide range of permissible supply voltages +5...+24V, the amplifier in question can be powered: directly from the tuner or TV (the above devices must be able to output +5V voltage), or via an external power supply separator (with a power supply).
