FT3S - Forward Transmitter 1310nm Single Module
The Forward Transmitter 1310 nm Single Module (FT3S) is designed to plug into PBN’s next generation Advanced Intelligent Multi-services Access platform (AIMA3000).
PBN AIMA3000 FT3S series full-spectrum advanced forward transmitters are designed for multi-services operators to increase network capacities to satisfy ever-growing subscriber demand for more high-definition programs and high-speed data services. The FT3S Multi Quantum Well (MQW) Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser transmitter module allows full-spectrum analog/digital broadcast and narrowcast channels over the entire 1 GHz space, which provides utmost flexibility for MSOs during the all-digital transition.
The laser transmitter module is available in optical power levels from 2 dBm to 12 dBm. The module offers superior frequency response, distortion and noise characteristics. The FT3S incorporates specialised circuitry to deliver the best possible CTB and CSO performance up to 1000 MHz and employs the latest in broadband linear amplifier technology. In addition, it is a leading-edge optoelectronic design for the delivery of high-quality transmission, in both analog and digital formats, over fiber-optic networks.
