Duplex SC/APC adapter
2xSC/APC- 2xSC/APC (optical "barrel") adapters are used to mutually connect two/four SC/APC half-connectors (patchcord-patchcord, patchcord-pigtail) providing physical connections for one or two optical fibers. The adapter dimensions correspond to the dimensions of the holes in optical fiber distribution boxes from different manufacturers. The adapters are factory-equipped with metal latches, ensuring quick assembly in the distribution box. SC/APC connectors are used for optical fiber connections, among others, in TeSM 101, 104, 105, 110 telecommunications boxes and optical fiber patch panels in the technical room. In order to connect the fiber, you need to buy pigtails and weld them to the previously laid fiber, e.g. G.657.A1 (Q301-9100-001-52) or X574-9100-001-92. According to current regulations, two fiber optic cables should be supplied to each apartment, so 4 pigtails will be needed to connect them - two in the technical room and two in the apartment - telecommunications box.
